A little fancy.
A little unexpected.
I love a beautiful antique, a fancy flourish, and a little chinoiserie. But I love them even more beside something rustic, handmade, or modern. That’s what I mean by “Making Fun of the Frou-Frou”: mixing high with low, adding a playful twist, and keeping beautiful things from feeling too serious. It’s how I decorate, how I create, and the spirit behind Very Barry.
These garden flags bring that same personality outdoors. Each design begins with an original, hand-painted piece, inspired by my garden and my love of chinoiserie.
